TanSpark® Tungsten Copper is Svenska Tanso AB:s own product for standard- and precision sink erosion machining.

The manufacturing process of the TanSpark® Tungsten copper material is controlled by our own very strict technical specification in terms of quality and later on expected performance.
The raw material used producing this high end material is obviously quality assured, controlled and certified prior being approved for production. A unique initial production process is your warranty for getting a material without any remaining open porosity or other unwanted elements.

Several subsequent quality controls takes place before TanSpark® is made available for sale, all to ensure the stringent demands for an efficient and trouble-free production.

Svenska Tanso has a comprehensive product line of quality filters for all sink erosion machines and processes. We stock and sell filters from several leading manufacturers and also our highly appreciated and own developed IQ PREMIμM.

Dielectric fluid and chemicals

The right dielectric for every machine!

Whether for roughing work or use in ultra-fine finishing – the dielectric has to satisfy the very specific requirements for every application. The high-performance dielectrics from oelheld are made from synthetic base oils and contain discharge-intensifying and wear-reducing additives and ageing inhibitors for use in electrical discharge machines (EDM).

By contrast with the conventional mineral oil products, the high-purity synthesis products enriched with the oelheld-patented satellite electrodes from the IonoPlus series are manufactured in a special blending process.

It does not matter whether die sinking, wire cutting or start hole drilling, we have the right dielectric for your machining process!

Electrode material

At Svenska Tanso you will find one of the most comprehensive ranges of electrode materials in the industry, used in all kinds of sink erosion processes. We stock, machine and sell premium graphite, tungsten copper, TTC-copper (abbreviation of Tanso Tellurium Copper) and electrolytic copper, in which areas we are the market leader in Northern Europe. The products are stocked in form of blocks, plates, sheets, tapered sheets, 3Ready-To-Run, precision ground sheets, foils, round bars, tubes and threading electrodes. We also offer machined electrodes according to your specification.
